Muscat, Oman to Indian immigrants parents from Mangalore. She is ancestry of
Devadiga and
Sindhi.She started her studies at Indian School Muscat and
Indian School Salalah in Oman. Later she moved to Mumbai and admitted Durelo Convent High School.At Vartak College she friendship
Arpita Khan, her college mate and the younger sister of Bollywood actor
Salman Khan. The friendship led to the chance meeting with
Salman Khan and film offers.
